Our reseller sent out a tech who spent 2 hours trying to change DNS, etc. We have another Workcenter 5330 in the office and it sends just fine with the same settings. Through all the troubleshooting the Centreware web browser has ALWAYS PASSED and sent emails just fine but if you are standing at the copier the scan fails. Our provider does have to identify our public IP address we are sending from and we verified that was correct. We use a relay server through our email Exchange server provider on port 25, no encryption. You can print from workstations on the network just fine. Job Status FAILED. Device could not transfer messages to sending mail server SMTP. One morning our Workcentre 7845 scan to email stopped working, after working fine the night before. In mechanical terms the printer works well (if i use a network cable everything's fine, but in the room i want to place my printer i don't have a cable, so WiFi is a must.) I did a total re-configuration of the router, all my devices can connect (Phones, laptops, TV's, PC's, Philips Hue) only the Xerox can't connect. Deleted the WiFi network password to make sure it has nothing to do with the securty which is used. Disable 5Ghz WiFi, to make sure only 2.4 GHz is used. Resetting the router (it's in a home network) Rename the WiFi name, to validate 'unsupported' characters in de WiFi name Configuration at the LUI and with CentreWare Web (laptop directly with cable to my printer to reach CWWS) Static IP instead of DHCP (so verified both options) Reset the device to default settings (thats only possible for the network settings)
Firmware update to the lastest spar release (3.50.01.59) I tried the things below to find a fix but after 3 hours still not able to connect. I have a Xerox B205 which i can't connect to WiFi.
